As Site Manager for Vestas you’ll use your skills and experience to supervise and develop teams that model Vestas values and produce high-level results against key performance indicators and operational goals. Key accountabilities include safety leadership, operational fluidity/achievement, and financial performance. You will be engaged in technical problem solving, handling the site budget, promoting operational efficiency, and handling customer accounts and service contracts.

Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to develop a culture of engagement, quality, and continuous improvement at the site. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the continuous improvement plan.
You have an ability to supervise an operation with a high delegation of responsibility to team members
You will be engaged in technical problem solving, handle the site budget, promote operational efficiency, and handle customer accounts and service contracts
You will build and foster effective internal and external partnerships. Identify the need to collaborate and do so across internal departments to resolve customer concerns. You demonstrate professional customer focus at all times, improving their satisfaction and loyalty. Ensure that all company policy and customer contractual obligations are met
You will be responsible for the site budget, cost allocations/management and full understanding of operational revenues, direct costs, CM and overall health and trajectory of the cost centers
Proven business management skills to include financial management/cost control, contractual compliance, and performance management skills.
Experience coordinating a team of employees to safely carry out work in a complex environment.
Wind turbine service experience.
Associates degree or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience including effectively dealing with and documenting employee performance
Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, climb stairs, hearing ability to use close range radios, visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguish between colors, ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed, as well as hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to climb ladders to heights of 330 feet and supervise work in confined space environments.
Ability to hold certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space
