Issue construction bid proposals between $100M and $600M and take lead on construction scope during contract negotiations
Assess construction scope and prepare tactical plan for proposals
Create strategies for Construction scope including transportation, pre-assembly campaigns, offshore installation, and offshore commissioning including selection of key assets and suppliers
Engage with customers to optimize construction proposal and provide clarifications
Participate in negotiations on commercial and contractual terms & conditions related to Construction Scope
Supervise and coordinate the proposal inputs from various Subject Matter Experts
Prepare construction budget and schedule
Review and mark-up tender materials and prepare contract schedules
Identify and maintain overview of major construction risks during sales phase
Implement lessons learned from previous projects
Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders on best practices

English communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)
Passport and ability to travel as needed to meet business milestones
Ability to influence across organizational boundaries with a solid focus on working with and understanding different cultures.
Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
5 or more years of work experience in the heavy construction, wind energy, offshore, maritime, or similar industries
Core understanding of technical matters involved in construction such as offshore operations, heavy lift equipment and crane operations, logistics, and construction site HSE
Experience with sales, negotiation, procurement or bidding and proposals
Flexibility with travel-based on the overall company goals (up to 25%).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience influencing and directing motivated, cross-functional teams.
Ability to recognize, differentiate, and direct a response to technical issues.
Great written, and verbal, and presentation skills.
Solid critical skills and ability to make business case comparisons for internal and external presentation.
Ability to perform under high priority and innovative work environment handling multiple deliverables.
Flexible and focused to deal with rapidly changing scenarios and priorities
Good attitude for teamwork.
Maintain high standards of ethical conduct, honesty, and integrity.

Ability to climb ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters.
Occasional travel to offshore working sites via vessels or helicopters may be required. To facilitate this, candidate should be able complete GWO Basic Safety Training, including Sea Survival Module, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) and pass an OGUK or USCG physical exam.

Boston, Massachusetts is the preferred work location but remote work within the US with occasional travel to Boston may be considered for the right candidate.
You will be expected to travel 20-30% of working days within your first year to receive On The Job Training and hands on experience with existing offshore wind projects and colleagues in Europe or Asia. After initial training, travel requirements will reduce to 10-15% and be primarily within North America.
