The head of construction & Service Tools is responsible for Vestas tools activities in the USA and Canada. This is your chance to guide a key market supporting regional construction and service operations in our global matrix organization across the entire value chain.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities and task related to this position are divided into five key areas:
1. Commercial management:
Agrees budgets, savings and performance targets with regional stakeholders and ensures focused monitoring & review of the same.
Negotiates and agrees regional business / delivery requirements and, if relevant, enforces them through Service Level Agreements.
Responsible for prioritizing, escalating and mitigating business risks across Vestas value chain.
2. Operational management:
In charge of regional tools centers operations according to main KPI's within safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Understands differences in offshore and onshore set up and organizes operations accordingly.
Responsible for regional operational long- and short- term planning of tools & tooling set up.
Supervises short- and long-term regional tools planning and logistic distribution, enabling optimal tools utilization and inventory.
Implements market-applicable optimization and cost–out initiatives in the region.
3. Stakeholder management:
In charge of supervising relationships with internal regional customers and representatives (Construction and Service) and global units (incl One Tool Unit).
4. Strategy and Business development:
Participates and supports global & regional business strategy implementation with respect to tools
Collects and feeds knowledge sharing and best practice learnings into the global unit.
Ensures standards through unified framework / processes within the region.
5. People management:
Building and strengthening the regional organization to ensure a well-motivated hard-working team, able to handle the substantial growth of Vestas.

Working with situational leadership with focus on the individual's development using internal tools as Continuous Performance Development, career and succession planning and talent programs.

Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, organizational science or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of management experience within complex matrix organization
International experience in a global multicultural environment is advantagous.
Experience in management disciplines is required. Examples of disciplines would be: strategy development, change management, employee survey engagement, customer relationship management, business cases development, lean manufacturing, supply chain management, or similar.
Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Experience of Microsoft packages, SAP, BI or equivalent EPR knowledge.

Pay Range: $150,000/year
