This Specialist role is part of the Vestas Services team which support daily operational needs and deliver future, sustainable OT solutions as pertains to Cyber Security. Our Service teams create value for Vestas and its customers by providing valuable feedback to Global product teams and work to advance solutions leveraging the latest technology and security trends. Our mission is to effectively detect all potential threats to the business and our customer’s assets.
Provide architectural guidance for the Vestas Plant products team and value-add solutions designed to fulfill the cybersecurity opportunities across a diverse suite of ICS components.
Provide feedback on implementing, supervising, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the OT devices in customer-owned Wind Power Plants
Map Cyber Security requirements to durable and trusted Cyber Security architectures
Provide input on the design of future Cyber Security architecture which impact existing Service solutions
Engage with our Global representatives to ensure alignment on the architecture for all stages in the solution lifecycle, including production, commissioning and handing over to service operations
Ensure Cyber Security architecture aligns with agreed-upon balance between security, features, and functionality
Ensure OT data and infrastructure is protected via standard security controls
Coordinate the Operations change management process as it pertains to cyber security related tasks
Engage in various aspects of Cyber Security Incident handling when needed
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CEH v8+ or equivalent experience
Detailed knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks, primarily IEC 62443, IEC 62351, CSC, and NERC CIP
Experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell and or other scripting languages/tools is good-to-have
Experience with customer-facing communication skills or public speaking
Project Management and experience in change management procedural review for Operations teams
Must have professional knowledge of ICS security and OT risk management
Knowledge about processes and governance regarding computer forensics analysis, ethical hacking and security testing and how to apply them in real world scenarios
Effective attention to detail with a pragmatic mindset and the ability to produce detailed documentation and work instructions
Good communication skills and stakeholder management experience
Ability to work independently as well as being part of a various local and global teams
Leadership mindset, Safety conscientious with a collaborative attitude
