A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Emmetsburg, IA, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, with seasonal higher average of overtime. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). The team here normally works in a small team of 3 technicians while climbing an average of 2 turbines a day.

✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or a wind certificate with 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial background
