This is a newly formed team covering Asia markets in Vestas APAC region, including onshore, offshore and other type of business. The position supports the electrical aspects of Vestas wind turbine sales, installation and operation efforts. The position is required to perform complex electrical engineering assignments with considerable latitude for action and administrating.

Creatively contribute to the technical value engineering of customer renewable energy projects from the electrical side and contribute to technical negotiations as an motivated member of the Power Plant Solution team respectful and highly qualified experts in their respective fields.
Full accountability for the Power Plant Solution of Vestas covering all commercially available Vestas products & services (onshore, offshore, hybrid and others) across Sales and Construction process until Commercial Operations, ensuring fully value optimized & risk balanced solutions, compliant with applicable requirements from customers and or local regulations.
Organising internal and external stakeholders with an outward focus towards Sales, customers and IEs, understand market and competitor landscape and link Central R&D to the market. Understand and manage customer and sales expectations and manage towards optimized solution.
Coordinating technical consultants in the preparation of preliminary Electrical design.
Develop and maintain equipment repository, database and procedures for electrical design.
Direct Project scoping, Prioritization, Technical Review & Value engineering activities, implemented within Global Power Plant Solution
Customer & Sales communication & relationship Management.
Power Plant Solution representative of Global R&D in the markets.
Supervise assigned Global Power Plant Solution resources towards high quality deliverables.
Research and prepare clarifications and deviations to tenders.
Take ownership for relevant parts of technical risk assessment & mitigation during Value Engineering/Negotiation phase and therefore own the relevant technical annexes and contract schedules.
Collect relevant electrical data and customer/site/grid requirements for project grid integration studies and request studies for Grid connection assessment.
Review Global Power Plant Solution study reports and evaluate for external use.
Support Customers to optimize projects using the EPD/CSR study results.
Grid Compliance Community Support including Grid Code scouting, interpretation & influencing.
communication with System Operators, support System Operators on model usage and integration of the latest Vestas model to their System Model.
Participate in Grid Code and Wind Industry working groups and technical committees.
Review new wind turbine system designs for code compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on power and control systems required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical power and control systems; background in solving power and control system problems
Ability to work in a time-sensitive situation and multi-task in a fast paced/deadline-oriented environment
Some experience and knowledge of Electrical Simulation models is appreciated
High-quality oral and written communication skills
Great organizational skills, ability to maintain confidentiality
Demonstrated flexibility working in a progressive and changing organization.
Solid computer skills, specifically in MS Office products
Should be a highly motivated initiator and be able to work with little to no supervision.
Specific experience in the implementation, operation, system standards, and service of wind turbines
